I’ve read that vsftpd is a ftp server built bearing security in mind. Yesterday, I’ve installed a copy of it and really appreciated its features. vsftpd is easy to chrooted and has built in functionality in connection with SELinux which supports MAC model.

BTW, SELinux is an amazing product. On one hand, people in database research realm have been trying to make a security mechanism using MAC for a long time. Still, there are no winner in that area. In fact, there are almost no databases which implemented MAC afaik. On the other hand, people in OS area made SELinux and managed to release it.
